These images are the result of a foray into the floodplain swamp of the Ochlockonee River at Porter Lake, walking upriver along the western shoreline ... on a cold, cold and cold overcast grey morning. Yep it was cold.
What a marvelous place! The dark water swirling around bloated tupelo trees, cypress knees over head high, and a fallen tree that looked like an alien creature.

Nice swamp studies, Bob. My favs though are the "bloody knees" and the broken log. I like the simplicity and comps.
